This multi-faceted campaign under the umbrella theme of “Beauty Sleep” included two news generation stories that each made national press, reporting on two surveys that showed that 60% of under 34 year olds sleep in make up and the number of couples going to bed after a bedroom barney. On our advice the client created a Limited Edition Beauty Sleep product bundle and we engendered a deal with skincare brand Flint + Flint to supply product that would enable us to do a free with every purchase.
Other content included signs your skin needs sleep and a scientific formula, three competitions in media to giveaway product, a Facebook and social media competition that generated more than 4000 entries, five blog posts on The Fine Bedding Company blog and blogger outreach. The campaign enabled us to extend the reach for The Fine Bedding Company to beauty writers and bloggers as well as lifestyle and health writers, generating widespread coverage and reaching thousands of consumers.
